It is not only because of the newly designed locomotive body that Bombardier's TRAXX3s clearly differ from their former models: For the first time, the side surfaces of an electric locomotive were equipped with a device for clamping tarpaulins on which you can place advertising.
In 2014, the first twenty class 147 locomotives (type P160 AC3), specially adapted to local transport requirements, were delivered to the DB Regio. With an output of 5.600 kW and a maximum speed of 160 km/h, they have also been operating in Berlin and Brandenburg since 2018.
